About this puzzle
500 piece puzzle featuring artwork by Kyle Staver. Engaging with the beautiful and the grisly of canonical Western narratives in equal measure, Kyle Staver finds her inspiration in sources ranging from the Bible to ancient Greek mythology. In Fortitude (2022), Staver reimagines one of the four cardinal virtues by depicting a knight astride a horse having just slain a dragon. But the knight is a woman, medusa is her shield, and she is not in any way in need of being rescued.
