About this puzzle
Venice in the morning feels quiet and hidden. Before visitors fill the narrow streets and bridges, the city is calm, touched by soft light and gentle sounds. As dawn comes up over the lagoon, it lights the domes of Santa Maria della Salute and the rooftops with pale colors. The canals are still, reflecting the sky, except for the slow movement of a single vaporetto or a gondolier starting his day. As the sun rises, the city slowly comes to life. Shopkeepers open their shutters, cafés set out tables, and the smell of fresh cornetti fills the narrow streets.
