About this puzzle
The Painted Ladies line Steiner Street, each one painted in its own unique colors, showing how important color is in San Francisco. At sunrise, their facades glow in soft shades of rose, buttercream, mint, and lavender, hinting at a quieter time when the city moved more slowly. Under their detailed trim and moldings, these houses show real resilience. They have survived earthquakes, fires, economic ups and downs, and many changes, standing strong as both witnesses and parts of the city's ongoing story. From Alamo Square, the Painted Ladies look out at the city skyline.
