About this puzzle
Explore inside a neuron with this colorful wooden puzzle featuring art by scientist David S. Goodsell. The Neuron Puzzle features large cellular regions which are subdivided into three different organic puzzle cut styles: maze, coral or matrix. Eight neuron shaped whimsy pieces are hidden within the puzzle. For an extra challenge, try to connect the neuron pieces into an alternate solution. ARTWORK The watercolor painting depicts a cross-section of a brain cell's axon. The axon is the portion of a neuron that carries electrical impulses to other cells.
