About this puzzle
With a mighty leap, a soul enters the afterlife, as imagined by artist Heidi Taillefer. Silkworm explores the dualities of life and death, light and dark, nature and technology. The ethereal work-a reverie that diffuses elements of varied world religions, mythologies, and cultures, as so much of Taillefer's figurative surrealist art does-grounds itself through its details, from the finely wrought tracery inspired by Indonesian shadow puppets to its title, an allusion to an Eastern folktale.
