About this puzzle
It's rare to find art so intriguing that you can literally develop an inner dialogue with it. But, that's the magic of Freeman's pieces. A red feather floats above an empty birdcage in the Vigil. What happened to the bird and why are the boys sad? Lisa implores the viewer to answer these questions and more. "My hope is that my work opens up a dialogue," says Freeman, "to consider alternate points of view and how we as people of the world got to this point." Well, one thing is for sure, she has us talking. Freeman is a self-made artist and a prominent member of the Athens art community.
